To reduce manufacturing costs with a simple structure that does not require a vibration control damper mechanism provided with high damping rubber, etc.SOLUTION: The damper device includes: a first long member 11 whose base end side is fixed to either a vertical member or a horizontal member of a wooden building via a first fixing portion 14; a second long member 12 in which a base end portion 12c is fixed to the other of the vertical member or the horizontal member to which the first fixing portion 14 is fixed via a second fixing portion 15, while the tip end side is fixed to the first long member 11, and an overlapping portion that overlaps with the first long member 11 is provided from the tip end portion toward the base end portion; and a third long member 13 provided so as to cover the first long member 11 and the second long member 12. An telescopic portion 12a3 that easily expands and contracts by being weaker than other parts of the second long member 12 is provided at the overlapping portion of the second long member 12.
