To surely obtain a predetermined restraint force when binding reinforcing bars arranged in parallel to each other.SOLUTION: The metal fitting includes: a reinforcing bar restraint plate 13 that has a pair of reinforcing bar holding portions 13a and 13b facing each other and a reinforcing bar holding portion 13c and is formed in a substantially U shape and sandwiches the reinforcing bars 2 and 2 arranged in parallel; a wedge nut 12 that is inserted into a wedge insertion hole 13b1 provided in the reinforcing bar holding portion 13a and exerts a wedge effect; and a bolt 11 into which a shaft portion 11a is inserted into a bolt insertion hole 13a1 provided in the other reinforcing bar holding portion 13b. The wedge nut 12 includes a bottom plate portion 12a in which a female screw hole 12a1 into which the shaft portion 11a of the bolt 11 is screwed is formed, and a pair of wedge-shaped side plate portions 12b, 12b that are erected from both the left and right sides of the bottom plate portion 12a and inserted into a wedge insertion hole 13b1 of the reinforcing bar restraint plate 13 from tip details 12b1, 12b1 to exert a wedge effect.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
