To provide a drying accelerator for a water-based paint for a road surface marking which is hard to corrode metal while having a drying accelerating effect of a coating film and can be sprayed by a simple spraying device, and a drying accelerating method for the water-based paint for a road surface marking.SOLUTION: A drying accelerator for a water-based paint for a road surface marking of the present invention comprises an aqueous solution of a carboxylate salt of one or both of an acetate salt and a propionate salt, and the concentration of the carboxylate salt is greater than or equal to 0.1 mol/L and less than or equal to saturation concentration. On the other hand, the method for accelerating drying of a water-based paint for a road surface marking of the present invention is a method for accelerating drying of a coating film of a water-based paint for a road surface marking before drying formed on a road surface, and the drying acceleration agent of the water-based paint for a road surface marking is supplied to the coating film so that the component amount of the carboxylate per 1 m2 becomes 1 g or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】塗布膜の乾燥促進効果を有しつつも金属を腐食させにくく、簡便な散布装置で散布が可能な路面標示用水性塗料の乾燥促進剤、及び、路面標示用水性塗料の乾燥促進方法を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の水性路面標示用塗料の乾燥促進剤は、酢酸塩及びプロピオン酸塩のいずれか一方もしくは双方のカルボン酸塩の水溶液からなり、前記カルボン酸塩の濃度が、０．１ｍｏｌ／リットル以上飽和濃度以下である。一方、本発明の路面標示用水性塗料の乾燥促進方法は、路面に形成された、乾燥前の水性路面標示用塗料の塗布膜の乾燥を促進させる水性路面標示用塗料の乾燥促進方法であって、前記塗布膜に、１ｍ２当たりの前記カルボン酸塩の成分量が１ｇ以上になるように、上記本発明の水性路面標示用塗料の乾燥促進剤を供給することを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
