To provide a perpendicular protective net that has excellent mechanical properties and can simultaneously exert excellent flame resistance and sunlight fastness.SOLUTION: A perpendicular protective net comprises: warp 10; weft 20; and ground yarns 30 that are arranged so as to weave the warp and the weft and formed by fuse-bonding a core yarn and a portion of a temporarily fuse-bonded yarn that coats at least a portion of the surface of the core yarn and includes a coated portion having lower melting point than the warp, the weft and the core yarn.
