To provide a cover for handrail which can suppress deviation of the cover with some tolerance in the size of an outer diameter of the handrail which is an installation object, and which can surely contribute to safe walking of a user by being mounted on an outer periphery of an existing handrail.SOLUTION: A cover for handrail includes: a cover body 1 disposed by covering an outer surface of a handrail 100; and fastening band parts 17 for tightening and fastening the cover body 1 on the outer surface of the handrail 100. The cover body 1 is formed by a soft material, and includes: a storage part 9 for storing the handrail 100; and a slit part 11 communicating with the storage part 9. The fastening band part 17 is provided in a protrusive manner from the vicinity of a slit part 11 of the cover body 1, and a free end side of the fastening band part 17 stretched striding over the slit part 11 is detachably fastened to the outer surface of the cover body 1 by a fastening part 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】取付対象とされる手すりの外径の大きさに許容範囲を持たせつつカバーのずれを抑止することを可能とし、既設の手すりの外周に取り付けることで利用者の安全な歩行に確実に寄与せしめることができる手すり用カバーを提供する。【解決手段】手摺り１００の外面を被覆して配設されるカバー本体１と、カバー本体１を手摺り１００の外面に締付け固着する締付けバンド部１７とを含み、カバー本体１は軟質材にて形成され、手摺り１００を収容する収容部９と、収容部９と連通するスリット部１１とを備え、締付けバンド部１７は、カバー本体１のスリット部１１近傍から突設され、スリット部１１を跨いで架け渡された締付けバンド部１７の遊端側は、固着部２１によりカバー本体１の外面に着脱自在に固着される。【選択図】図２
