To provide a Japanese-style room interior structure that is adapted to modern lifestyles but still has traditional Japanese elements.SOLUTION: A Japanese-style room interior structure, which is a structure of a Japanese-style room 2 with a first wooden floor formed along a first wall body W1, includes: the first wall body W1, which is adjacent to an outdoor space 3 and provided with an opening D1; a window 4 installed in the an opening D1 and having translucency; an inner sliding door 5 installed on the indoor side of the window 4 and equipped with a sliding door 51 that covers an indoor side face 4a of the window 4; and a wood panel 6 installed on the indoor side of the inner sliding door 5 and aligned in the in-plane direction with the sliding door 51, in which the wood panel 6 and the sliding door 51 are so installed along the first wall body W1 as to be slidable at least from one end of the opening D1 in the horizontal direction to the other end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
