To provide a lighting device, a toilet bowl and a toilet seat apparatus that can suppress the reduction in illuminance due to the sticking of dirt.SOLUTION: A lighting device 1 includes: an elongated circuit board 21 having flexibility; a plurality of light emitting units 22 mounted on the circuit board 21 in a row; and an elongated cover 11 formed of a soft material having light transmissivity. The cover 11 contains fine particles of photocatalyst dispersed entirely on the cover 11. Titanium oxide is applicable as such a photocatalyst. When, for example, the lighting device 1 is utilized in an outdoor environment, dirt sticking to the surface of the cover 11 and containing organic materials is decomposed by the photocatalyst contained in the cover 11 upon emission of ultraviolet in solar light to the surface of the cover 11. Hence, sticking of dirt to the surface of the cover 11 can be suppressed, and the reduction in illuminance due to the dirt can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】汚れの付着に起因した照度の低下を抑制できる照明装置、便器および便座装置を提供する。【解決手段】照明装置１は、可撓性を有する長尺の回路基板２１と、回路基板２１に列状に実装された複数の発光部２２と、透光性を有する軟性材料から形成された長尺のカバー１１と、を備える。カバー１１は、カバー１１全体に分散された光触媒の微粒子を含む。ここで、光触媒は、酸化チタンを採用することができる。例えば照明装置１を屋外で使用する場合、カバー１１の表面に太陽光に含まれる紫外線が照射されることによりカバー１１に含まれる光触媒によりカバー１１の表面に付着した有機物を含む汚れが分解される。このため、カバー１１の表面への汚れの付着が抑制され、汚れに起因した照度の低下が抑制される。【選択図】図２
