To provide a height adjustment device with improved operability.SOLUTION: A height adjustment device 1 includes a fixing member 5, a pin member 6 that undergoes a screw advancement/retraction in the fixing member 5 by means of a screw structure, and a lock member 7 that can regulate the screw advancement/retraction of the pin member 6 relative to the fixing member 5. The pin member 6 includes a geared section 18, the fixing member 5 includes a resilient locking piece 21 for engaging and disengaging a groove in the geared section 18, and the locking member 7 includes a locking section 28. The lock member 7 can be displaced between a locked position at which the screw advancement/retraction of the pin member 6 by rotation thereof remains locked and a temporally assemble position at which the screw advancement/retraction of the pin member is not locked. In the locked position, the locking section 28 engages the locking piece 21 in such a way of suppressing the elasticity of the locking piece 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
