To provide a beam member having an opening capable of effectively suppressing cracks and increasing the strength.SOLUTION: A beam member 1 includes a beam body 10, first reinforcing steel plate 15 and second reinforcing steel plate 16. The beam body 10 includes a reinforced concrete beam member 11 having a first through hole 11a and laminated lumber beam members 12, 13 having a second through hole 12a and a third through hole 13a that match the first through hole 11a and are joined to the side surface portion of the reinforced concrete beam member 11. A first reinforcing steel plate 15 and a second reinforcing steel plate 16 are interposed between the reinforced concrete beam member 11 and the joint surfaces of the laminated lumber beam members 12 and 13 so as to touch at least a part of the periphery of the second through hole 12a and the third through hole 13a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
