To collect underground water with a water collecting pipe without arranging a vertical drain on both ends of the water collecting pipe extending in a lateral direction along a bottom surface of a bottom part of a building.SOLUTION: A water collecting structure 100 includes: a shaft 110 having a drainage facility 112 for draining underground water; a culvert 102 which extends underneath a bottom part 20 of a building 10 from the shaft 110 and flows the underground water to the shaft 110; and a plurality of first water collecting pipes 150 which extend in a lateral direction along the bottom surface 20A of the bottom part 20 of the building 10 from the culvert 102 and collect the underground water to the culvert 102.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
