To provide an apparatus for actuating a door on a vehicle.SOLUTION: There is provided an apparatus for actuating a door on a vehicle. The door includes a first panel and a second panel, both of which are movable between an open position and a completely closed position. A first motor is operably connected with the first panel to move the first panel, and a second motor is operably connected with the second panel to move the second panel. A first striker/latch assembly is disposed adjacent to the first panel, and a second striker/latch assembly is disposed adjacent to the second panel. A computer is electrically connected with the first motor, the second motor, the first striker/latch assembly and the second striker/latch assembly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
