To make a louver material 16 constructed on a ceiling portion and a wall portion of a building thin while keeping sufficient strength and making a louver material hardly damaged or deformed even by an external force.SOLUTION: A louver material 16 constructed on a ceiling portion of a building comprises: a ceiling joist 6 as a louver substrate fixed to and supported by the ceiling portion; and a louver body 17 which includes a front wall portion 18 and side wall portions 19, 19 facing each other, which has a square shape with a U-shaped cross section and with an open rear side portion, and which is attached to be fixed to the ceiling joist 6 so as to coat. 【課題】建物の天井部や壁部に施工されるルーバー材１６を薄型にしても、十分な強度を保つことができ、外力によっても損傷や変形がし難くなるようにする。【解決手段】建物の天井部に施工されるルーバー材１６として、天井部に固定支持されているルーバー下地部材としての野縁６と、表壁部１８及び互いに対向する側壁部１９，１９を有し、裏側部が開放された断面コ字状の角形であり、野縁６に被覆するように取付固定されるルーバー本体１７とを備え、ルーバー本体１７は火山性ガラス質複層板からなる。【選択図】図４
