To provide a coupler and an assembling type partition unit which can be simply assembled by a beginner and enable saving of a placed space.SOLUTION: A coupler 3, which is used for assembling type partitioning, and connects at least one or more frame members 2 that are formed by combining first pipe bodies 2a and second pipe bodies 2b having different opening diameters and can be expanded and contracted, includes a connection body, and at least one or more connection hole parts that are provided on the connection body, and can connect both the first pipe bodies 2a and the second pipe bodies 2b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
