To provide a hand washing device capable of limiting use by many and unspecified people while being installable in an outdoor place such as a garden.SOLUTION: A hand washing device 10 includes: a water discharging part 14 for discharging water supplied from a sill cock 1; a housing 12 in which the water discharging part 14 is arranged; a cover body 30 attached to the housing 12 in an openable/closable manner; and a lock device 40 for locking the cover body 30. The lock device 40 is provided with a release part 46 for releasing a lock state in which the cover body 30 cannot be opened/closed, and when an area surrounded with the cover body 30 in a state in which the cover body 30 is closed is a cover area R, the water discharge part 14 is arranged in the cover area R.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】本発明は、庭など屋外に設置可能としつつ、不特定多数の者による使用を制限することができる手洗い装置の提供を目的とした。【解決手段】本発明の手洗い装置１０は、散水栓１から供給される水を放出する吐水部１４と、吐水部１４が配置される筐体１２と、筐体１２に対して開閉可能に取り付けられたカバー体３０と、カバー体３０をロックするためのロック装置４０と、を有し、ロック装置４０には、カバー体３０が開閉不能となるロック状態を解除する解除部４６が設けられており、カバー体３０が閉じられた状態においてカバー体３０に取り囲まれる領域をカバー領域Ｒとした場合、吐水部１４が、カバー領域Ｒに配置されていることを特徴とする。【選択図】図４
