To provide an operation method and operation device of a mechanical parking device in which user can conduct an entering and leaving operation without touching a control panel.SOLUTION: A operation device 1 of a mechanical parking device according to the present embodiment comprises: a safety confirmation camera 4 capable of imaging a predefined area within an entering and leaving berth 2; a processing progress camera 5 disposed at a control panel 3 and capable of imaging a user standing at the front of the control panel 3; a control device 6 analyzing a user gesture imaged by the safety confirmation camera 4 and the processing progress camera 5 and processing the operation regarding opening and closing of an entrance door 21; and a display 31 disposed at the control panel 3 and indicating information necessary to the operation for opening and closing of the entrance door 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】利用者が操作盤に触れることなく入出庫操作を行うことができる、機械式駐車装置の操作方法及び操作装置を提供する。【解決手段】本実施形態に係る機械式駐車装置の操作装置１は、入出庫バース２内の所定のエリアを撮像可能な安全確認用カメラ４と、操作盤３に配置され操作盤３の前に立った利用者を撮像可能な処理進行用カメラ５と、安全確認用カメラ４及び処理進行用カメラ５に撮像された利用者のジェスチャーを解析し出入口扉２１の開閉に関する操作を処理する制御装置６と、操作盤３に配置され出入口扉２１の開閉の操作に必要な情報を表示するディスプレイ３１と、を備えている。【選択図】図１
