To ensure that even heavy ditch covers can be easily lifted.SOLUTION: There is provided a ditch cover holder 100 for holding a ditch cover 1 with a through hole 2 opened, including a pair of tilting pairs 10 that are pivotally supported around a rotating shaft 11, a flange 20 provided at one end of each of the pair of tilting pairs 10, which is larger in outer diameter than the tip portion of the tilting pair 10, and a grip portion 12 provided on the other end side of each of the pair of tilting pairs 10. The flange 20 is formed in a size that allows the pair of tilting pairs 10 to be inserted into the through hole 2 of the ditch cover 1 in a closed posture in which the pair of tilting pairs 10 are tilted around the rotating shaft 11, abuts a tip 13 of the tilting pair 10 on the inner surface of the through hole 2 of the ditch cover 1 in an expanded posture in which the tilting pair 10 is inserted into the through hole 2 and tilted around the rotation axis, and is configured to be able to support the ditch cover 1 with the back of the flange 20 connected to the tip 13 of the tilting pair 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
