To provide a collision shock absorbing member for a seismically isolated building, which enables avoidance of direct collision between an upper structure and a stopper, has stable characteristics and enables adjustment of cushioning capacity of the member depending on the degree of the collision, and a seismically isolated building.SOLUTION: A collision shock absorbing member for a seismically isolated building 1 is provided, which is fixed to at least one of an upper structure and a stopper for restricting relative displacement of the upper structure in a predetermined horizontal direction and reduces the impact of the upper structure occurring when the upper structure collides with the stopper. The collision shock absorbing member is formed in a predetermined shape by assembling a large number of chip-shaped rubber chips 5 and has a void 6 inside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】上部構造体とストッパとが直接衝突することを回避できると共に、安定した特性が得られて衝突度合いによる緩衝能力の調整も可能となる免震建物用衝突緩衝部材及び免震建物を提供する。【解決手段】上部構造体と、当該上部構造体の所定の水平方向での相対変位を規制するストッパとの少なくとも一方に固定され、上部構造体がストッパに衝突する際の衝撃を緩和する免震建物用衝突緩衝部材1は、多数のチップ状のゴムチップ5を集成して所定形状に形成され、内部に空隙6を有している。【選択図】図1
