To provide a sound absorption component for vehicle windows capable of reducing noise caused by a motor during travelling and weight saving, while securing visibility, by being mounted on a window of a vehicle such as an automobile, a railway vehicle and the like.SOLUTION: A sound absorption component for vehicle windows includes a light transmissive base material 1 having a plurality of through-holes 1a, and a frame 2 for fixing to a vehicle window comprising a sound absorption material with a void ratio of 50.0-99.8% at the outer periphery of the light transmissive base material 1. The through-holes do not exist in a region 11 which does not have the frame 2 for fixing of the light transmissive base material 1, and the through-holes 1a exist in a region 12 which has the frame 2 for fixing, and the through-holes 1a communicate with the void of the sound absorption material used for the frame 2 for fixing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1-1
【課題】 本発明の課題は、自動車や鉄道車両等の車両の窓に取り付けることにより、視認性を確保しつつ、走行中のモーターや軽量化に伴う騒音を低減させることができる車両窓用吸音部品を提供することにある。【解決手段】 複数の貫通孔1aを有する光透過性基材1と前記光透過性基材1の外周に空隙率50.0~99.8%の吸音材を用いてなる車両窓への固定用フレーム2を有する車両窓用吸音部品であって、光透過性基材1の固定用フレーム2を有しない領域11は貫通孔が存在せず、固定用フレーム2を有する領域12に前記貫通孔1aが存在し、前記貫通孔1aが固定用フレーム2に用いられる吸音材の空隙に通じている構造であることを特徴とする車両窓用吸音部品。【選択図】図1-1
