To provide a seismic isolation structure capable of enhancing a reduction rate of a horizontal load due to an earthquake.SOLUTION: A seismic isolation structure comprises vertical members 2 rising vertically from the ground, a fixed slab 3 stretched horizontally between the vertical members 2, a plurality of rolling elements 4 mounted on the fixed slab 3, a movable slab 5 disposed movably in the horizontal direction on the plurality of rolling elements 4, a spring 6 for biasing the movable slab 5 so that the movable slab 5 is disposed at a predetermined position in the horizontal direction, a first suspension member 7 extending downward from the movable slab 5 through a hole 3a formed in the fixed slab 3, a cap member 8 fixed to the lower end of the first suspension member, a spherical body 9 arranged inside the cap member 8, a second suspension member 10 extending downward from the spherical body 9, a living room 11 suspended from the second suspension member 10, and a damper 12 for suppressing shaking of the living room 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
