To provide furniture and a booth which can prevent articles or the like from being caught.SOLUTION: A chair 12 related to one embodiment of the invention includes a base part 71, a seat 73 positioned above the base part 71, a linkage mechanism 120 which connects the base part 71 and the seat 73 so that the seat 73 can move between a seating position where the seat 73 turns upward and a rising position where the seat 73 turns to the front, and a cover member 76 which encloses an entire circumference of the linkage mechanism 120 between the base part 71 and the seat 73. The cover member 76 includes an extending and contracting part 161 which extends and contracts by following displacement of the linkage mechanism 120.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
