To restrict a deformation of an entire steel structure building in earthquake and reduce a cross section of a skeleton constituting a habitable room to improve design flexibility in the steel structure building having the habitable room adjacent to a corridor of each layer.SOLUTION: A steel structure building 10 has a steel structure rigid frame 100 with a corridor 12 of each layer and a steel structure soft frame 200 with a habitable room 14 of each layer adjacent to the corridor 12. A corridor side steel frame beam 112X of the rigid frame 100 has a greater beam depth at both ends than a center part and has a shorter beam length than that of a habitable room side steel frame beam 212X of the soft frame 200.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】各層の通路に隣接して居室がある鉄骨造建物において、地震時における鉄骨造建物全体の変形を抑制し、居室を構成する躯体の断面積を小さくすることを可能にして設計自由度を高くする。【解決手段】鉄骨造建物10は、各層の通路12が設けられた鉄骨造の剛架構部100と、通路12と隣接する各層の居室14が設けられた鉄骨造の柔架構部200と、を有している。剛架構部100の通路側鉄骨梁112Xは、中央部よりも両端部の梁成が大きく且つ柔架構部200の居室側鉄骨梁212Xよりも梁長が短い。【選択図】図1
