To provide a construction material that has a hard-to-peel coating film formed.SOLUTION: A construction material 1 has a base material 10, a sealer coating film 12 formed on a surface of the base material 10, and a surface layer coating film 13 formed on a surface of the sealer coating film 12. The construction material 1 differs in part in water permeability of a surface measured by JIS A 6909. 【課題】剥離しにくい塗膜が形成される建築資材を提供する。【解決手段】建築資材１は、基材１０と、基材１０の表面上に形成されたシーラー塗膜１２と、シーラー塗膜１２の表面上に形成された表層塗膜１３と、を有する。建築資材１は、表面におけるＪＩＳ Ａ ６９０９で測定された水浸透率が部分的に異なる。シーラー塗膜１２を形成するシーラー塗料の固形分量が前記水浸透率に基づいて設定されている。【選択図】図１
