To provide an automatic door that can effectively identify false detection problems.SOLUTION: An automatic door includes: a sensor 30 that has at least one light emitter that projects light onto a plurality of detection segments constituting a detection area 90 and at least one light receiver that receives the reflected light, and generates detection information for an automatic door opening/closing drive based on light-receiving information received at the light receiver; and a storage section 304 that stores detection segment data related to the number of detection segments for which the light-receiving information is generated when the automatic door is driven to be opened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
