To provide a glass block having a light emitting function and light permeability which can be used as a luminaire suppressed in a bias in luminance, and as a lighting window.SOLUTION: In a glass block (1) having a pair of glass moldings (1a, 1b) having light permeability, opened at one-side faces, and formed into box shapes, and a light emitting device (10), the light emitting device (10) is accommodated and air-tightly sealed in an internal space (S) which is formed by joining open ends of the pair of glass moldings (1a, 1b) to each other, a pair of light supplying connection terminals (11, 12) for lighting the light emitting device (10) are arranged at a joining part (3) of the open ends, and in the light emitting device (10), light emitting diodes (15) which are aligned in a plane shape with prescribed intervals are connected to one another in parallel and in series by wiring (16), and arranged in a net shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
