To provide technique which can restrain an outer panel from coming into contact with a door handle when vehicles collide.SOLUTION: A side door disclosed herein is a side door for a vehicle which comprises an inner panel, a door handle which is mounted on the inner panel and is operated by a user, an outer panel which covers the inner panel from the outside of the vehicle and includes an opening exposing the door handle, and a cover which is mounted on the inner panel and plugs the opening of the outer panel at least partially. The cover includes a protrusion part which protrudes to a clearance between the door handle and the outer panel at least in a vehicle longitudinal direction of the door handle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
