To provide a pillar and a method of installing a pillar that enable adjustment of inclination of a pillar member with an easy structure to match inclination of the installation surface.SOLUTION: In a pillar that comprises a base plate comprising a foundation member attached to an installation surface and a base post erected on the foundation member, and a pillar member that is tightly fitted to the base post and secured by a plurality of fastening members, the base post has a plurality of first through holes that are formed in the height direction at intervals and penetrate through the fastening members, and the pillar member has a plurality of second through holes formed in positions corresponding to the first through holes. And as a tilt adjustment mechanism for adjusting the tilt of the pillar member assembled to the base plate, a first tilt adjustment clearance is provided between the inner surface of the base post and the outer surface of the pillar member, and a second tilt adjustment clearance is provided between the fastening member and the first through hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】設置面の傾斜に合わせて、容易な構造で柱部材の傾き調整をすることができる支柱及び支柱の設置方法を提供する。【解決手段】設置面に取り付けられる基礎部材及び、前記基礎部材に立設されるベースポストとからなるベースプレートと、前記ベースポストに遊嵌し、複数の締結部材によって固定される柱部材と、を備えた支柱において、前記ベースポストには、高さ方向に間隔を開けて前記締結部材を貫通する複数の第１の貫通孔が形成され、前記柱部材には、前記第１の貫通孔に対応する位置に複数の第２の貫通孔が形成され、前記ベースプレートに組付けられた前記柱部材の傾きを調整する傾き調整機構として、前記ベースポスト内面と前記柱部材外面との間には第１の傾き調整用クリアランスを有し、前記締結部材と前記第１の貫通孔との間には第２の傾き調整用クリアランスを有する。【選択図】図３
