To provide a revolving work machine allowing a work device to perform swing motion through operation of an operation member clamped and operated by an operator.SOLUTION: A revolving work machine is provided with: a machine body rotatable around the revolving axis; a work device attached on the machine body so as to be swingable around the swing axis; an operation member clamped and operated by an operator; and a control device for controlling the revolving motion of the machine body and the swing motion of the work device, wherein the control device has an operation pattern switching part for switching between a rotation operation state to perform the rotational motion through operating the operation member in one direction and a swing operation state to perform the swing motion through operating the operation member in one direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
