To provide a steering mechanism capable of effectively using a lower space.SOLUTION: A steering mechanism includes: a rotary shaft rotatable around a shaft center extending in a first horizontal direction; an operation member arranged on one end side in a shaft center direction of the rotary shaft to rotate integrally with the rotary shaft; an angle sensor arranged on the other end side in the shaft center direction of the rotary shaft to detect a rotation angle of the rotary shaft; and a neutral return mechanism provided between the operation member and the angle sensor to return the operation member from an operated operation position to a neutral position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 22
