DRAINAGE SYSTEM OF BRIDGE SEAT SURFACE OF ABUTMENT AND PIER
To solve the problem in which: bridges all over Japan are aging and 50-year-old bridges are closed to traffic and are in danger of collapsing, and thus effective measures must be taken to prolong their lives; one of the causes is corrosion of steel girders and bearings caused by water leakage from expansion devices in the abutment and piers that support the bridge; and a possible countermeasure is to dig a drainage ditch into the bridge seat surface, but it damages the structure and lowers the load-bearing capacity, and it is not easy to find a place to pool and process the drained water.SOLUTION: It is simple if a plastic U-shaped drainage tray 18 is laid on the bridge seat surface no matter whether the bridge is a new or existing one. In addition to draining water leaked due to corrosion from the expansion device, by providing a U-shaped drainage tray inside the raindrop line, water from the horizontal bridge seat is collected with a guide liner and dropped, and stagnant water and perpetual wet conditions can be eliminated. A block member of 2 m long is comparatively light, and it can be easily extended even with a beam length of 10 m.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】日本中の橋梁が老朽化し、50年経過の橋が通行止め、落橋の危機にある。延命化に有効策を講じなければならない。原因の一つに、橋梁を受ける橋台・橋脚の橋座部で、伸縮装置からの漏水に起因する鋼桁、支承の腐食がある。橋座面に排水溝を掘り抜く対策が考えられるが、構造物を痛め、耐荷力を低下するとともに、排水先、その処理が容易でなく捗らない。【解決手段】新設、既設を問わず、橋座面にプラスチック製のU字型排水トレイ18を敷設することとすれば簡明。伸縮装置からの腐食性の漏水を受けての排水に加えて、雨垂れ線内側にU字型排水トレイを設置し、誘導ライナーで水平な橋座面から集中して落水すれば、滞水もなく万年の湿潤状態を解消できる。部材長さ2mのブロック割とすれば軽く、梁長10mでも簡単に延長できる。【選択図】 図2
