To provide a portable biometric authentication device based on key input which enables a portable biometric authentication device of high confidentiality and high operability without using an expensive and complicated instrument.SOLUTION: A device that performs an authentication only with an input from one push button implements two authentication functions. A first implementation captures a melody or a rhythm which is in the memory of a user of the device as time-series data through depression of a key. A second mounting measures a plurality of extracted key depression time widths and distinguishes the person from others even if a rhythm of the same melody is input, since a timing of depressing the key is different from person to person.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】高価で煩雑な機器を使わなくても機密性の高い、操作性に優れた携帯型生体認証装置を実現する事が可能なキー入力による携帯型生体認証装置を提供する。【解決手段】１個の押釦の入力のみで認証を行う装置であって、２つの認証機能を実装する。第１の実装は、装置利用者の記憶にあるメロディやリズムを、キーを押下する事により、時系列のデータとして取り込む。第２の実装は、キーを押すタイミングが人によって異なる事から、例え同じメロディのリズムを入力しても、抽出した複数個のキー押下時間幅を計測して比較し、本人と他人を弁別する。【選択図】図２
