To provide a rubber composition for a fender which has good rubber physical properties as rubber, and enables inexpensive manufacture of a fender whose bearing leg part is easily buckled and deformed by aboardage of a marine vessel, and a fender using the same.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for a fender contains rubber containing 10-40 pts.mass of BR in 100 pts.mass of the total amount, and 65-90 pts.mass of carbon black per 100 pts.mass of the total amount of the rubber. A fender contains at least a bearing leg part 4 composed of the rubber composition for the fender.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ゴムとしての良好なゴム物性を有する上、船舶等の接舷によって支承脚部が座屈変形しやすい防舷材を、よりコスト安価に製造できる防舷材用ゴム組成物と、それを用いた防舷材を提供する。【解決手段】防舷材用ゴム組成物は、総量１００質量部中に１０～４０質量部の割合でＢＲを含むゴムと、当該ゴムの総量１００質量部あたり６５～９０質量部のカーボンブラックとを含む。防舷材は、上記防舷材用ゴム組成物からなる支承脚部４を少なくとも含む。【選択図】図１
