To provide a joint pipe saved in labor of correcting an end part when fitting to a steel pipe and applicable to a small diameter steel pipe pile, a manufacturing method and a design method thereof, a steel pipe with the joint pipe, a manufacturing method and a design method thereof, and a steel pipe pile and a construction method thereof.SOLUTION: A joint pipe 1 is a screw type or an insertion type joint pipe fitted to the end part of a steel pipe 3 and jointing the steel pipe 3. The outer diameter of a base end part 1a jointed to the steel pipe 3 is larger than the outer diameter of the steel pipe 3, an inner diameter of the base end part 1a is smaller than the inner diameter of the steel pipe 3, and an extended length of the base end part 1a from an outer peripheral surface of the steel pipe 3 is 9 mm or less, in a state of the steel pipe 3 matched to a pipe axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】鋼管に取り付ける際に端部を矯正する手間を省略でき、小径の鋼管杭にも適用が可能な継手管、その製造方法、設計方法、継手管付き鋼管、その製造方法、設計方法、鋼管杭及び鋼管杭の施工方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】本発明に係る継手管1は、鋼管3の端部に取り付けられ鋼管3を接合するねじ式又は差込式の継手管であって、鋼管3に接合される基端部1aの外径が、鋼管3の外径より大きく、基端部1aの内径が鋼管3の内径より小さく、かつ、鋼管3と管軸を合わせた状態において、基端部1aの鋼管3の外周面からの張り出し量が9mm以下であるものである。【選択図】 図1
