To provide a slide panel installation structure that can be easily attached to a horizontal frame to close the gap formed above the upper edge surface of the slide panel, a cover member for use in the slide panel installation structure, and a slide panel installing method.SOLUTION: A slide panel installation structure 1 of the present invention, which includes a hanger rail 8 fixed to a horizontal frame 4, a hanger roller 10 mounted on the hanger rail 8, and a slide panel 3 that fixes the hanger roller 10 and is movably suspended from the hanger rail 8, has a cover member 20 covering at least an upper end of the slide panel 3 from the horizontal frame 4 on one or both of a front side S1 and a rear side S2 of the slide panel 3 on one or both of the front side S1 and the rear side S2 of the slide panel 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
