To provide a wire holder for an automatic binding machine carrying a replacing wire for an automatic binding machine safely and securely, making it possible to recover and bring back a replaced drum, and not inhibiting a work even when the wire holder is worn by a worker.SOLUTION: A wire holder for an automatic binding machine comprises: a base portion 11 disposed to face one flange 24 of a wire 2 for an automatic binding machine to be stored that is formed by winding a wire 22 around a drum 21; and a holding portion 12 provided to continue to the base portion 11 and holding the wire 2 for the automatic binding machine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
