To provide an exterior material having both a power generation function and a power storage function.SOLUTION: An exterior material includes a frame having a flat plate shape and a solar cell array provided on the main surface of the frame. The frame has a positive electrode, a negative electrode opposed to the positive electrode, and a geopolymer embedding the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The solar cell array is electrically connected to the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The frame can further be equipped with a first terminal that is electrically connected to the positive electrode and a second terminal that is electrically connected to the negative electrode, and the solar cell array is electrically connected to the positive and negative electrodes through the first and second terminals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
