To provide a permeable weir for capturing driftwood for capturing mainly large driftwood in an upstream area of a mountainous area.SOLUTION: This invention discloses a protective weir with a screen made of a wire net stretched across left and right banks of a valley among mountains to allow debris flows including small gravels to pass through during a flood and trap and dam driftwood. A passage space is provided on a stream bed near at least the lower end of the screen to allow flow of rocks including boulders in the debris flow. The passage space is provided between the side edge of the screen and the banks to allow the flow of rocks including boulders in the debris flow, and the screens are installed in multiple stages in the direction of the debris flow at predetermined intervals in the valley.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】山間部上流域で、主として大型の流木のみを捕捉する流木捕捉用透過堰を提供する。【解決手段】この発明は、山間の谷部の左右の渓岸間に洪水時の小礫を含む土石流を通過させ流木を捕捉して堰き止めるワイヤーネットからなるスクリーンを横断方向に張設した防護堰であって、上記スクリーンの少なくとも下端側近傍の渓床上に土石流中の巨礫を含む流石の流下を許容する通過スペースを設けている。上記スクリーンの側端と渓岸との間に土石流中の巨礫を含む流石の流下を許容する通過スペースを設け、谷部に対してスクリーンを土石流方向に所定の間隔を介して複数段階に設置した。【選択図】図１
