To suppress infiltration of foreign matters into a rotary seal portion and improve discharge performance of foreign matters to the outside.SOLUTION: A foreign matter infiltration prevention structure of a rotary seal portion of a work machine comprising a crawler type travel body comprises: a fixed housing fixed to a vehicle body side of the crawler type travel body; rotary wheels around which crawlers of the crawler type travel body are stretched and which rotates by driving force from a driving source; and a rotary seal portion provided between the fixed housing and the rotary wheel. The fixed housing includes a cover portion covering at least a part of an upper side space from above. Between the cover portion and the rotary wheel, there is formed a first opening communicating with the upper side space and opening downward in the vertical direction. Between a lower part of the fixed housing and the rotary wheel, there is formed a second opening communicating with a lower side space and opening downward in the vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】回転シール部への異物の浸入を抑制し、かつ、外部への異物の排出性を向上することができる。【解決手段】クローラ式走行体を備えた作業機械の回転シール部の異物浸入防止構造は、クローラ式走行体の車体側に固定される固定ハウジングと、前記クローラ式走行体のクローラが架け渡され、駆動源からの駆動力により回転する回転輪と、前記固定ハウジングと前記回転輪との間に設けられる回転シール部と、を備え、前記固定ハウジングは、上側空間の少なくとも一部を上方から覆うカバー部を備え、前記カバー部と前記回転輪との間には、前記上側空間に連なり、かつ、鉛直方向下向きに開口する第１開口部が形成され、前記固定ハウジングの下部と前記回転輪との間には、前記下側空間に連なり、かつ、鉛直方向下向きに開口する第２開口部が形成される。【選択図】図５
