To enable not only a recipient but also a courier to open/lock a delivery box at the time of delivery or pickup without operating number keys on a delivery box itself or entering a PIN on a terminal.SOLUTION: A delivery box includes a box body 12, a box opening/closing section 13 that opens/closes an opening of the box, and an electronic lock section 17 that can open/lock the box opening/closing section 13 relative to the box body 12. A control unit issues an authentication request encrypted with a public key A to a terminal located within a short distance by a short-range wireless communication unit, decrypts an authentication response encrypted with a public key B with a secret key BN when the authentication response is received from the for terminal, permits an open/lock instruction from the terminal when this decryption result meets specified conditions, receives an open/lock instruction encrypted with the public key B from the terminal, decrypts the same with the secret key B, and opens/locks the electronic lock section 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】配達時および集荷時に受取人のみならず宅配人も、宅配ボックス本体での番号キー操作や端末上での暗証番号の入力を行うことなく、開錠／施錠動作を行うことができるようにする。【解決手段】ボックス本体１２と、その開口部を開閉するボックス開閉部１３と、ボックス本体１２に対してボックス開閉部１３を開錠／施錠することができる電子錠部１７を備える。制御部は、近距離無線通信部により近距離内に位置する端末に対して、公開鍵Ａで暗号化した認証要求を発出し、公開鍵Ｂで暗号化された認証応答を当該端末から受信したとき、秘密鍵ＢＮで当該認証応答を復号し、この復号結果が所定の条件に合致したとき、当該端末からの開錠／施錠指示を許可し、当該端末から公開鍵Ｂで暗号化された開錠／施錠指示を受けて秘密鍵Ｂで復号し、電子錠部１７を開錠／施錠する。【選択図】図８
