To provide a drain plug system capable of suppressing an increase in costs related to production, maintenance, and the like.SOLUTION: A drain plug system 1 comprises an operation part 34 for switching an open/closed state of an exhaust port 102, and has an automatic closing function for automatically switching the exhaust port 102 from an open state to a closed state by controlling operation of a motor 32a. Then, the automatic closing function is switched between valid and invalid when a detection part 6 detects a preset specific operation in the operation part 34. In this manner, it is no longer necessary to separately provide a device for switching between enabling and disabling the automatic closing function since it is possible to switch between valid and invalid of the automatic closing function by effectively using the operation part 34 that is an operation target when opening and closing the exhaust port 102. 【課題】製造やメンテナンス等に係るコストの増大抑制を図ることができる排水栓システムを提供する。【解決手段】排水栓システム１は、排水口１０２の開閉状態を切換えるための操作部３４を備えるとともに、モータ３２ａの動作を制御して排水口１０２を開状態から閉状態へと自動的に切換える自動閉栓機能を有する。そして、検知部６により操作部３４における予め設定された特定の動作が検知されたとき、自動閉栓機能の有効又は無効を切換える。このように排水口１０２を開閉する際の操作対象となる操作部３４を有効的に利用して、自動閉栓機能の有効又は無効を切換可能とされるため、自動閉栓機能の有効又は無効を切換えるための装置を別途設ける必要がなくなる。その結果、排水栓システム１の製造やメンテナンス等に係るコストの増大抑制を図ることができる。【選択図】 図１
