To provide a gate device for parking device and a parking device which are constituted of a small number of components, and still able to move up and down a gate by .SOLUTION: A gate device for parking device has a first support and a second support, which are disposed so as to be spaced away from each other in a lateral direction, gates that are disposed between the first support and the second support and moves in a vertical direction with respect to the first support and the second support, and a lifting device that moves the gates in the vertical direction with respect to the first support and the second support. The lifting device has a rope whose one end is fixed to the first support, sheaves provided on the gate and allows the rope to be disposed between them, and a drive unit that drives a second end side of the rope to move the gate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
