To provide a fixture which enables the engagement state of a sash and a head jamb to be maintained even not only when the sash moves upwards but also when the sash moves downwards or the position of the upper sash bar of the sash goes down, so that the sash is prevented from coming off from the frame body.SOLUTION: A fixture comprises: a frame body which consists of a head jamb, a sill and right-and-left jambs with a groove part formed on each the head jamb and the sill; a sash, which has a face member located inside a sash frame body consisting of an upper sash bar, a lower sash bar and right-and-left sash frames, and is secured to the head jamb and the sill with its upper end and lower end being inserted into the groove part respectively; and a latch member which is arranged on the sash frame body to prevent the sash from coming off from the frame body. The latch member comprises an engagement piece that is located on the outdoor side of the sash and is arranged to be engageable with the frame body, and an operation member which turns the engagement piece to an engagement position and disengagement position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
