COVER MEMBER
To provide a cover member to securely prevent a small animal from entering or a child from playfully putting his/her limb into a clearance between a washing machine and a placement surface on which the washing machine is placed.SOLUTION: A cover member 1 covers a clearance between a washing machine S and a placement surface H for the washing machine. The cover member is constituted to have a lock mechanism for bringing the cover member into a lock state for keeping a condition of covering the clearance between the washing machine and the placement surface or releasing the lock state. The placement surface of the washing machine is provided on a frame 6a on which the washing machine is placed. The placement surface of the washing machine is provided on a waterproof pan 6 on which the washing machine is placed. The cover member 1 is watertightly fixed to the placement surface in the state of covering the clearance between the washing machine and the placement surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
