To provide a piping member, and a rain gutter system capable of stably promoting effect caused by the siphon phenomenon.SOLUTION: A piping members 5 configures a part of a down pipe 3 of a rain gutter system 1 using the siphon phenomenon on drainage of rain water. The piping member 5 is provided with: a straight pipe part 51 forming a part of a passage 30 of the down pipe 3; a diffusion part 52 connected on the straight pipe part 51 and placed in the passage 30. The diffusion part 52 comprises a small opening 521 of which a passage area is smaller than that of the down pipe 51 and a guide surface 522 guiding rain water passing through the opening 521 to a direction separating it apart from a center axis C1 of the down pipe 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
