To provide a platform door device from which a hand, an article, or the like can be pulled out even when the hand, the article, or the like is caught between a door pocket and a connection member.SOLUTION: A platform door device includes: a door having a door pocket provided on a platform, a plurality of horizontal members moving forward/backward in a longitudinal direction of the platform from the door pocket, and a connection member for connecting tips of the plurality of horizontal members in the forward direction; and a drive part for moving the horizontal members forward/backward from the door pocket along the longitudinal direction. The connection member is configured to be movable or deformable in the forward direction of the horizontal members in addition to the forward/backward movement of the horizontal members by the drive part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
