To provide an existing underground structure reinforcement method enabling construction to be easily performed.SOLUTION: An existing underground structure reinforcement method in the embodiment has a cylindrical wall body construction step to construct a cylindrical wall body 10, which is formed into a cylindrical shape by a plurality of lateral wall members 1 by connecting joint parts 11, 12 formed on both ends in short-length direction of the lateral wall member 1 to each other, around an existing underground structure 8. The cylindrical wall body construction step preferably comprises: a cylindrical wall body erection step to hold the lateral wall member 1 so as to be erected on the foundation, and connect one joint part 11 of the held lateral wall member 1 and the other joint part 12 of other lateral wall member 1 different from the lateral wall member 1, and erect the cylindrical wall body 10 on the ground; and an installation step to sequentially install the plurality of lateral wall members 1 constituting the cylindrical wall body 10 into the ground and install the cylindrical wall body 10 around an existing underground structure 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】施工を容易に行うことが可能となる既設地中構造物の補強方法を提供する。【解決手段】実施形態における既設地中構造物の補強方法は、側壁部材1の短手方向の両端部に形成される継手部11、12同士を接続し、複数の側壁部材1により筒状に形成される筒状壁体10を、既設地中構造物8の周囲に構築する筒状壁体構築工程を備える。筒状壁体構築工程は、側壁部材1を地盤に対して起立した状態に保持し、保持した側壁部材1の一方の継手部11と、当該側壁部材1とは異なる他の側壁部材1の他方の継手部12と、を接続し、筒状壁体10を地上に立設する筒状壁体立設工程と、筒状壁体10を構成する複数の側壁部材1を順次地中に打設し、既設地下構造物8の周囲に筒状壁体10を設置する打設工程と、を有することが好ましい。【選択図】図5
