To provide a turning work machine for allowing easy inspection of electric components including an electric component box and a sub battery from the outside of a swivel.SOLUTION: A turning work machine includes a swivel, a work device provided on the front side of the swivel, a first electric component including an electric component box, and a second electric component including the sub battery, the first electric component and the second electric component being arranged on a first side part of the swivel. A first side part cover as an external cover for the first side part includes a first inspection window for enabling the inspection of the first electric component, and a second inspection window for enabling the inspection of the second electric component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
