To provide a console box equipped with a lid openable/closable with respect to an opening from both directions and capable of reliably preventing the lid, which is opened in one direction, from detaching from a console box body even if a different knob is erroneously operated while the lid is in the opened position.SOLUTION: A lid 3 of a vehicle console box 1 is provided with: one lock mechanism 10 for locking one-direction opening of the lid 3; one knob 43 that unlocks the one lock mechanism 10; the other lock mechanism 10 that locks the other-direction opening of the lid 3; the other knob 43 that unlocks the other lock mechanism 10; a regulation mechanism 60 that regulates an operation of the other knob 43 in a state where one lock mechanism 10 is unlocked; one first holding member 55 that individually holds the state where one lock mechanism 10 is unlocked; one second holding member 53; the other first holding member 55 that individually holds a state where the other lock mechanism 10 is unlocked; and the other second holding member 53.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
