JOINT COUPLING METHOD FOR SQUARE STEEL PIPE COLUMN
To provide a joint coupling method for a square steel pipe column, which is the method that fastens high-strength bolts by rotating nuts set within the column and fastening the nuts due to rotation of high-strength bolt heads inserted from an outer surface side of the square steel pipe column when joining the square steel pipe columns by using splice plates and high-strength bolts in a lengthwise direction, and can secure the stability of joining strength and accommodate bolt position changes in a very small range.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a structure where splice plates with nut holding boards are made to abut onto inner surface walls of a joining region of a square steel pipe column and nuts included in the nut holding boards are screwed onto high-strength bolts inserted from outer surface sides of the square steel column to fix the splice plates. In the structure of the nut holding boards provided at the splice plates, washer restraining plates having undergone multiple cutout processes to be larger than the washer shape and nut restraining plates having undergone multiple cutout processes to be larger than the nut shape are overlapped, and lunch box-shaped nut covers composed of processed thin steel plates are assembled onto the nut restraining plate sides of the overlapped boards.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】角形鋼管柱を、添え板と高力ボルトを用いて長さ方向に接合する場合において、高力ボルトの締付けは、角形鋼管柱の外面側から挿入した高力ボルト頭の回転で、柱内部にセットしているナットを回転させで、ナットを締付ける工法であって、接合強度の安定確保と、微小範囲でのボルト位置変化に対応できる角形鋼管柱の継手接合工法を提供する。【解決手段】角形鋼管柱の接合部領域の内面壁に、ナット保持盤を有する添え板を当接し、前記角形鋼柱の外面側から挿入した高力ボルトに、ナット保持盤に有するナットが螺合して添え板を固定する構造と、添え板に有するナット保持盤の構造においては、座金形状より大きめに切り抜き加工を複数施した座金拘束プレートと、ナット形状より大きめに切り抜き加工を複数施したナット拘束プレ-トを重合し、薄板鋼板を加工した弁当箱形状のナットカバーを、前記重合盤のナット拘束プレート側に組み合わせている。【選択図】図1
