MUFFLE STRUCTURE FOR CYLINDRICAL FURNACE MADE OF CARBON/CARBON COMPOSITE MATERIAL USING POLYGONAL ANNULAR MEMBER
To provide a muffle structure for cylindrical furnace (including vertical cylindrical furnace and horizontal cylindrical furnace), superior in durability, small in heat capacity, not requiring a large-scale manufacturing facility, and capable of considerably reducing operation cost, especially a muffle structure enhancing annular rigidity (rigidity indicating difficulty in deforming in a radial direction) of a structure body (substantially cylindrical polygonal columnar body).SOLUTION: A muffle structure for cylindrical furnace consisting of a polygonal columnar body having a substantially cylindrical shape is devised by mechanically combining plural carbon/carbon composite materials formed in a plate shape being a most simple basic configuration, the materials being high in heat resistance, strength and rigidity and rich in toughness, and plural annular or partially annular carbon/carbon composite materials.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】耐久性に優れ、熱容量が小さく、大型の製造設備を必要とせず、運用コストを大幅に低減することのできる円筒炉(縦型円筒炉および横型円筒炉を含む)用のマッフル構造であって、特に構造体(疑似円筒状の多角形柱状体)の円環剛性(半径方向の変形しにくさを表す剛性)を高めたマッフル構造を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】耐熱性、強度、剛性が高く、靱性に富んだ炭素/炭素複合材料であって、最も単純な基本形態である平板状からなる複数の炭素/炭素複合材料と、複数の円環状又は部分円環状の炭素/炭素複合材料とを機械的に結合することにより疑似的な円筒形状を有する多角形柱状体からなる円筒炉用マッフル構造を考案した。【選択図】図1
