To provide a slope protection tool and a slope protection method that are strong enough to be used as a foundation work for greening slopes, and can green and protect slopes with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A slope protection tool 1 comprises: a substantially rectangular net-like member 4; a long chain-like body 2a(2) disposed on the net-like member 4; and a plurality of fixing members 3 for fixing the chain-like body 2a(2) to a slope. A longitudinal direction of the chain body 2a(2) is along a shorter direction (direction a) of the net-like member 4.
